Costs of Participation

There is a one time registration fee of $350 to offset the cost of meals during the meetings. Once accepted, you will be requested to pay this registration to Ohio ACTE. Participants will provide their own travel and per diem costs for the face to face meetings, costs incurred with mentorship experience(s) and other incidentals. Each participant must have access to a computer with a 56K modem. Graduate credit offered by Ohio State University or another institution is available at the participant's expense. All other costs are covered by the grant.

Costs of Not Participating

If the United States is to remain a world leader, it will require that our workforce is prepared and ready to compete in a global economy. This workforce will require individuals with technical, employability, and academic skills. Without knowledgeable leaders who are able to develop outstanding programs and effective practices, it is not likely that we will be able to remain competitive. The alarming rate at which current leaders are retiring further compounds this problem.
